This concern also goes hand in hand with a constant search for improvement opportunities to generate additional margins.<\/p>\n<p>Our customer, a major industrial contractor in the defense sector, wanted to strengthen risk and opportunity management within its programs, in order to better control its financial provisions and improve project performance in terms of quality, costs and deadlines.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main achievements <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Deployment of a risk management organization and application<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We built a Group-wide risk and opportunity repository based on feedback from past programs, to facilitate the sharing of risks between programs and entities responsible for resources.<\/p>\n<p>We then defined the governance system and risk portfolio management procedures within the programs, from the work packages through to program management, in liaison with the Group finance department in charge of managing budgets and provisions.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, we supported the selection and integration of an application dedicated to risk portfolio management and control action plans, then deployed it to major programs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key figures :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1,200<\/strong> risks and opportunities analyzed<\/p>\n<p><strong>15<\/strong> risk and opportunity families<\/p>\n<p><strong>20<\/strong> projects deployed<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Major investment or product development projects entail a large number of technical, industrial and human risks that need to be managed if objectives are to be met.
