7th Supply Chain Risk Barometer – In search of a new balance

The year 2025 confirmed the entry of companies into a long-term unstable global environment, marked by an accelerated recomposition of economic and geopolitical balances. The logic of blocs has been reinforced and the world has entered a major transition phase whose new future equilibrium is largely uncertain.

Against the backdrop of hybrid, military, commercial and informational warfare between the United States, China and Russia, we have entered a phase of geopolitical and geoeconomic recomposition with multiple levers: protectionist measures, tariff negotiations, sovereignist industrial strategies and even territorial conquests to arrogate resources that have become increasingly critical.

For European companies, these developments mean increased cost volatility, more constrained flows, longer lead times and increased exposure to regulatory, geopolitical and logistical risks. Globalized supply chains, designed to optimize costs, are particularly put to the test.

This 7th edition of the KYU Supply Chain Risk Barometer, carried out in partnership with Arts & Métiers, France Supply Chain, AMRAE and Belrim, is an opportunity to take the pulse of the Supply Chain, to measure the evolution of the risks to which it is exposed, to assess the maturity of organizations to face new challenges, to identify and share trends and best practices for management.
